Judges 19:3-5

The Voice

³ Then he went after her, to speak kindly with her and convince her to come home with him. He brought his servant and two donkeys with him. When the Levite reached her father’s house, the woman’s father saw him and went joyfully out to welcome him and brought him into the house.

⁴ Her father made him stay for three days, so the Levite stayed there, eating and drinking. ⁵ On the fourth day, they got up early to prepare to leave.
